Paris.... French Open 2011
Yet another fun and entertaining week brought to you by yours truly. The dynamic duo, Mirza/ Vesnina, brought their A game, for the doubles once again, keeping their hard core fans happy. I enjoyed myself as always, venturing out into the city, seeing what i could get myself into…. after my day job , coaching Sania of course! I'm keeping this blog short, as i worked overtime the past two weeks on and off court with tennis and the making ... read more

Prague
When i thought it couldn't get any better, Prague decides to come along, and catch me way off guard. This Country goes in my "favourite countries visited" category. If your after a trip back in memory lane, dating hundreds of years back, then this is your city. Walks downtown, has you feeling as if your literally about to come face to face with an ancient King. The culture, embodies all that eastern europe is about, with it's food, beer and ... read more

Madrid 2011
I know i keep repeating myself in these intro's, but i just can't help but get excited each week. I LOVE Madrid. Very rich in culture, art, and cuisine. For those of you who enjoy eating early, don't even think bother trying to eat before 9pm. A typical Spanish dinner begins around 10pm, and ends far past midnight. When the food is good, might as well enjoy it right. As well as being a very old city, it's also very ... read more

As i love being creative, i had to do a small video, and piece on the city i'm from. This is completely un relevant to tennis, However, is a very big part of who i am. Being able to be creative, and do tiny projects likes, while being at home, allow's me to focus, work hard, and do my job while being out on the road for months at a time. Charleston
Charletson, one of the oldest standing cities in the USA today. Traditional southern food, walks down candle lit street in the evenings. The occasional alligator, nipping at your toes, while you glance at the ever so lush swamps. It's a place most people will never truly understand, unless that is, you come and visit for yourselves. I think i'm a southern boy at heart, or it was the 4 years at University of South Carolina, that i did, that makes ... read more

Sony Ericsson, Miami 2011
Humidity is amongst many things, sunny florida has brought to the table for this guy the past 2 weeks. There is not much to hate in this city, that is, if you know your way round town, like i do. We stayed downtown Miami, which is a 10 min drive from South beach, and a 20 ride to Key Biscayne, where the tournament is hosted. Sania played some great tennis again this week, getting through the qualifying rounds and won ... read more

Indian Wells, California 2011
Oh to be in sunny California again. The one place on earth, i can honestly never get tired of. Waking up to, beautiful sunny skies, snow capped mountains, and a warm breeze blowing through your flow (hair for those who have it). Sounds like a shampoo commercial, but it's my reality. I could seriously go on for days, as to why i love this state, but i'd rather spare you the torture, and have you find out for yourselves. Now ... read more

For those of you who prefer SUV'S over Car's, then make friends with this truck. As i have grown to now know, we cannot go anywhere without security, due Sania's popularity on this side of the world. There is a constant energy given off from this concrete city they call “The Big apple”. You would think that being from Toronto I would be use to the chaos and hustle, but instead it only makes me realize just how small my city really is. I felt like an ant in a hay field. As tears ran down my face from having to leave Sunny California, I only found them drying up just as fast due to the outrageous heat in Cincinnati. Rain, rain and more rain was the forecast in lovely Birmingham. Besides the weather however, Birmingham is actually a great city just a couple hours outside of London.
